Civil or Criminal Proceedings. [a] If civil or criminal proceedings are brought against a licensed employee alleging that he/she committed assault or battery in connection with his/her employment, the licensed employee, after filing the reports described hereafter, may request the cooperation of the Board. Upon receiving such request, the Board may request its attorney or insuring company to consult with the licensed employee's attorney or insuring company and cooperate insofar as the interests of the District and the licensed employee are not conflicting.
