Common use of Claiming Period Clause in Contracts

Claiming Period. All claims for expenditures related to the demonstration (including any cost settlements) must be made within two (2) years after the calendar quarter in which the state made the expenditures. Furthermore, all claims for services during the demonstration period (including cost settlements) must be made within two years after the conclusion or termination of the demonstration. During the latter two (2) year period, the state must continue to identify separately net expenditures related to dates of service during the operation of the demonstration on the Form CMS-64.21U Waiver and/or CMS-64.21UP Waiver.
