Claims for Compensation. 28.1 No compensation arrangements apply to the Security Owner as Participant Sponsored Holder. 28.2 If the Sponsor breaches the Sponsorship Agreement, the Security Owner is not entitled to make a claim on the National Guarantee Fund for compensation. 28.3 If the Security Owner makes a claim for compensation against the Sponsor as the Security Owner’s Controlling Participant, the Sponsor’s ability to satisfy that claim will depend on its financial circumstances. 28.4 The Sponsor has lodged a Sponsorship Bond with ASX Settlement and the Security Owner may be entitled to make a claim under that Sponsorship Bond.
