Common use of Class Reallocations Clause in Contracts

Class Reallocations. Class reallocations may be requested by the Union and whenever they believe a reallocation is justified by the existence of an inequitable relationship between the positions covered by the reallocation request and other positions covered by this agreement. If the Employer agrees that such an inequity exists, the Employer and the Union agree to jointly petition the General Court to provide the necessary funding for such class reallocation. If, however, the parties are unable to reach agreement the matter shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.
