Classroom Assignment. (a) Fifteen (15) hours per week of classroom or equivalent instruction.

Classroom Assignment. The scheduling of classes and the assignment of instructional space to them is the responsibility and prerogative of the University. The University will assign instructional space consistent with institutional and pedagogical needs including class size, room capacity and configuration, location and instructional technology. Faculty may request health-related accommodations pertaining to the assignment of instructional space that may or may not fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Requests must be submitted in writing to the Human Resource Services Office where staff will review the request and, if approved, work with the Registrar and others as appropriate to make reasonable accommodations and/or space assignment. Denial of any non-ADA requests shall not be grievable.

Classroom Assignment. In the event a unit member is employed for summer school teaching and summer school is being offered at the unit member’s school site for the regular school year, the unit member will be assigned to the unit member’s classroom whenever operationally feasible.
