Common use of CLOSING OF UNIVERSITY Clause in Contracts

CLOSING OF UNIVERSITY. Should the University, or an area of the University, be closed temporarily due to environmental conditions, utility disruptions, road conditions or other reasons beyond the control of the University or the employees covered by this Agreement, employees shall receive their regular salary during the closure. The University may layoff employees in accordance with the terms of Article 17 if the closure is expected to be for greater than ten (10) working days.
