College of Letters and Science. Applicants to the College of Letters and Science must meet the following criteria: 1) ALL TAG APPLICANTS TO THE COLLEGE TAGs may be written for students who will meet UC eligibility requirements and complete at least 60 semester (90 quarter) transferable units by the end of spring 2010 and have an overall transfer GPA of at least 2.90. Students must have this GPA when TAGs are written and must maintain it throughout the remainder of their transfer work. A student must take courses equivalent to those listed below if they are offered at a CCC. Courses not offered at a CCC must be completed after enrolling at UC Xxxxx. TAGs may be written using these criteria for all majors except Communication, International Relations, and Psychology. These selective majors require additional criteria as listed below. Note that all courses required for these selective majors must be completed by the end of spring 2010. TAGs may not be written for the major in Nature and Culture or the Undeclared category. 2) COMMUNICATION TAGs may be written in Communication for students who meet the TAG criteria for the College of Letters and Science [Section III)D)1)] and who meet the following additional criteria: Complete courses comparable to the following UC Xxxxx courses with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for this group of courses. Courses must be taken for a letter grade, with no grade less than "C." Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for the group of courses that have been completed when the TAG is written.‌ Students must maintain that GPA throughout the remainder of their transfer work in the required group of courses: Anthropology 4 or Linguistics 1; Psychology 1; Sociology 1; Statistics 13 3) INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS TAGs may be written in International Relations for students who meet the TAG criteria for the College of Letters and Science [Section III)D)1)] and who meet the following additional criteria: Complete courses comparable to the following UC Xxxxx courses with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for this group of courses. Courses must be taken for a letter grade, with no grade less than "C." Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for the group of courses that have been completed when the TAG is written. Students must maintain that GPA throughout the remainder of their transfer work for the required group of courses: Economics 1B; Economics 1A or Anthropology 2; History 4C or History 10C; International Relations 1 or Political Science 3...

  • Definitions and Scope 1.1 Employees shall have the right to present grievances in accordance with the procedures prescribed in this Article. 1.2 For purposes of this Agreement, a grievance is a dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the terms or provisions of this Agreement.   • RECOGNITION AND SCOPE 1.01 The Company agrees to recognize the Union as the sole collective bargaining agent for employees covered by this Agreement. 1.02 This Agreement shall apply to all Craft and Services employees of the Company covered by the certification order of The Canada Labour Relations Board dated May 28, 1976. When the parties mutually agree that a new occupation established during the term of this Agreement has clearly a number of significant points in common with the other occupations within the unit, such new occupation shall fall within the scope of this Agreement.

  • Cooperation on forestry matters and environmental protection 1. The aims of cooperation on forestry matters and environmental protection will be, but not limited to, as follows: (a) establishing bilateral cooperation relations in the forestry sector; (b) developing a training program and studies for sustainable management of forests; (c) improving the rehabilitation and sustainable management of forest with the aim of increasing carbon sinks and reduce the impact of climate change in the Asia-Pacific region; (d) cooperating on the execution of national projects, aimed at: improving the management of forest plantations for its transformation for industrial purposes and environmental protection; (e) elaborating studies on sustainable use of timber; (f) developing new technologies for the transformation and processing of timber and non-timber species; and (g) improving cooperation in agro-forestry technologies. 2. To achieve the objectives of the Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties may focus, as a means of cooperation and negotiations on concluding a bilateral agreement on forestry cooperation between the two Parties. Such collaboration will be as follows: (a) exchanges on science and technology as well as policies and laws relating the sustainable use of forest resources; (b) cooperation in training programs, internships, exchange of experts and projects advisory; (c) advice and technical assistance to public institutions and organizations of the Parties on sustainable use of forest resources and environmental protection; (d) facilitating forest policy dialogue and technical cooperation under the Network of Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Rehabilitation in Asia- Pacific Region, initiated at the 15th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting; (e) encouraging joint studies, working visits, exchange of experiences, among others; and (f) others activities mutually agreed.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • TERM AND SCOPE OF THE CIA A. The period of the compliance obligations assumed by Progenity under this CIA shall be five years from the effective date of this CIA. The “Effective Date” shall be the date on which the final signatory of this CIA executes this CIA. Each one-year period, beginning with the one-year period following the Effective Date, shall be referred to as a “Reporting Period.” B. Sections VII, X, and XI shall expire no later than 120 days after OIG’s receipt of: (1) Progenity’s final annual report; or (2) any additional materials submitted by Progenity pursuant to OIG’s request, whichever is later. C. The scope of this CIA shall be governed by the following definitions:

  • Background Screening and Security ‌ All Contractor employees and agents performing work under the Contract must comply with all security and other requirements of the Department.

  • Mutual Agreement This Agreement may be terminated at any time by mutual written agreement of the parties.

  • RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION 29 CONTRACTOR shall not utilize information and/or data received from COUNTY, or arising out 30 of, or developed, as a result of this Agreement for the purpose of personal or professional research, or 31 for publication. 32
