Common use of Committees under Public Hospitals Act Clause in Contracts

Committees under Public Hospitals Act. Nurses who are members of committees pursuant to Regulation 965 of the Public Hospitals Act will suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during regular working hours for attending committee meetings. Where a nurse(s) attends a committee meeting outside of regularly scheduled hours, the nurse will be paid for all hours spent in attendance at meetings at the nurse’s regular straight time hourly rate. Part-time nurses will be credited with seniority and service for all such hours paid as provided above in attendance at such committee meetings.
