Community School Unit Members. Beginning in the 2014-2015 school year, two (2) afternoons per month shall be utilized for unit member preparation and collaboration at the Unit Member’s discretion. Before the start of each semester, a staff meeting schedule for the semester shall be provided to unit members. This schedule shall include which afternoons are for staff meetings and which are for classroom preparation, and collaboration at the unit member’s discretion. If schedule changes are needed, there shall not be any loss of the two (2) minimum days reserved for preparation/collaboration. No more than twice during the school year, the site administrator may exchange a preparation/collaboration day for a meeting/PD day, and shall give at least two weeks notice prior to making such an exchange.
