Community Service/Charitable Organizations. Employees serving on the boards of community service, philanthropic and/or charitable organizations such as the United Way may be granted leave of absence with or without pay upon application to the Superintendent of Schools or designate. Approval of such leave, whether with or without pay, shall not be unreasonably withheld.
