Compensation Adjustments. When an employee promoted to a higher class during a prior fiscal year receives a lesser salary than if promoted in the same class and from the same schedule step during the current fiscal year his/her salary shall be adjusted on July 1, to the rate he/she would have received had he/she been promoted in the current fiscal year.
