Longevity Compensation. Longevity payments will be made to all employees with continuous full-time service according to the following schedule:
Longevity Compensation. There is established, for all classes of classified positions in the County service, a schedule of Longevity Compensation Rates, separate from the regular compensation schedule, as follows and which longevity payment is made on December 15.
Longevity Compensation. Effective August 1, 2017, each employee shall receive additional bi-weekly compensation at the rates and for the service periods set forth in the following table: % Payment Years of Continuous Service 5% of base salary Over 10 years to 20 years 10% of base salary Over 20 years For the purpose of this provision, service means service in any position and/or positions covered by this Agreement.
Longevity Compensation. SECTION 15.1 Longevity payments will be made to all employees with continuous full-time service according to the following schedule:
A. 2 1 2% per year applied to annual base pay being received by the employee after five (5) years of continuous full-time service.
Longevity Compensation a. Longevity compensation shall be granted in the amounts shown below. The first level will begin with nine (9) years continuous service with the District. Employees who leave district employment due to a reduction in force and are rehired within twenty-four (24) months will receive the same longevity rate as at separation from the District. No credit will accrue during separation from the District. Beginning with 9 years $.42 per hour Beginning with 14 years $.83 per hour Beginning with 18 years $1.24 per hour Beginning with 22 years $1.72 per hour Beginning with 26 years $2.09 per hour
b. Time spent on approved leaves or on recall prior to expiration of recall rights does not constitute an interruption of employment for the purposes of calculating longevity payments.
Longevity Compensation. In an effort to retain employees that are trained and qualified within the Escondido Fire Department, the following longevity compensation schedule will be implemented for Safety employees: Employees achieving their fifth anniversary of total service with the City of Escondido Fire Department will receive a stipend of $1,000 payable on the first pay period beginning after their service anniversary. Such stipend will be paid annually after achieving the anniversary, and will be paid only to employees achieving an overall satisfactory performance rating in the previous evaluation period. Additionally, the stipend will be considered as part of total compensation comparison with other fire agencies. Employees achieving their tenth anniversary of total service with the Escondido Fire Department, and shall have one year of service in Step 6, will be placed on the seven-step salary schedule and will be advanced to the next step on their salary schedule. They will continue progressing within the salary range according to the Personnel Rules for salary progression.
Longevity Compensation. Employees will be compensated for longevity at the following rates annually: 10-14 years - $000 00-00 years - $000 00-00 years - $300 25 + years - $400

Longevity Compensation. Longevity, as set forth in the longevity schedule (Appendix D), is not included in the hourly rate for overtime pay. Eligibility begins after completing the anniversary of the employment date starting the new contract year of July 1.
Longevity Compensation. Members shall receive, in addition to other pay called for herein, Longevity Compensation based on completed years of service according to the following table: After five (5) years of continuous service After ten (10) years of continuous service After fifteen (15) years of continuous service After twenty (20) years of continuous service After twenty (25) years of continuous service $ 600/year $ 800/year $ 1,000/year $1,200/year $1,400/year The longevity compensation shall be paid, in accordance with the above schedule, in two (2) separate lump sum payments during the first pay periods of June and December of each year. Upon termination of service for other than just cause, members who are eligible for longevity pay under this section (or in the event of death, the surviving spouse, dependents or estate) will be paid, as part of their terminal pay, the final partial year of longevity compensation, prorated to the number of months completed during said partial year since the member's last payment date. For the purpose of this article continuous years of service shall include approved military leave and any time in paid status.
