Compensation Adjustments. 419. When an employee promoted to a higher classification during a prior fiscal year receives a lesser salary than if promoted in the same class and from the same salary step during the prior fiscal year, the employee’s salary shall be adjusted on July 1st of the new fiscal year to the rate the employee would have received had the employee been promoted in the prior fiscal year.
