Common use of Compensation Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Compensation Adjustments. When an employee promoted to a higher classification during a prior fiscal year receives a lesser salary than if promoted in the same class and from the same salary step during the prior fiscal year, his/her salary shall be adjusted on July 1st of the new fiscal year to the rate s/he would have received had s/he been promoted in the prior fiscal year.
