Common use of Compensation for Certificates Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Certificates. A. Employees will be paid for a maximum of ten (10) certificate stipends. Each certificate stipend will be paid annually for a period of up to five (5) years from the date earned. Any employee who has earned non-expiring certificate stipends prior to July 1, 2004 will continue to receive payment annually at their current value during the employee’s service in this bargaining unit.
