18.03 a21.02 The provisions of the PSAC Travel Policy shall apply to all travel approved by the Employer.
21.03 For each night an employee remains in overnight travel status she/he shall be entitled to be reimbursed the cost of one ten (10) An Employeeminute long distance telephone call. Related associated service charges shall form part of the cost of the call.
21.04 The Employer will issue, on a loan basis, a suitcase to employees who is are required to work three travel frequently. The standard issue suitcase will be of a quality equal to the Samsonite Epsilon case. It is understood and agreed that the suitcase must be returned to the Employer when the employee either leaves the PSAC or accepts a job with no requirements for frequent traveling.
21.05 For the purpose of Article 21.01 b) i), b) ii), and c), the seven (37) or more hours following her scheduled hours of work, referred to therein shall be reimbursed her expenses increased to twelve (12) hours for one travel to, from or within the Territories (1) meal at the amounts specified at the current PSAC meal rate. COMPENSATION FOR TRAVEL. 20.01 For the purposes of this article, applicable overtime rate means time and one half (1 ½T) for a combined period of travel and work on a work day and a Saturday and double time (2T) for a period of travel on a Sunday or a designated paid holiday.

20.04 Employees who are required to travel outside of travel the NCR shall receive payment for all transportation and hotel costs and shall be determined by reimbursed for any other expenses in accordance with the Employer GSU By-laws, Regulations and she Policies.
20.05 Mileage rates paid to employees using their own automobiles for the Employer’s business shall be compensated in equivalent to the following manner:
a) On a normal working day on which she/he travels, the employee shall be paid:
i) her/his normal pay Treasury Board mileage rate for the day up province of Quebec as adjusted from time to time. Employees shall receive a minimum payment of no less than the first seven Treasury Board daily minimum rate plus fifteen percent (715%) hours, ii) at per round trip on the applicable overtime rate for additional work and/or travel time Employer’s business. The Employer shall also pay the difference in excess of seven (7) hours period of work and travelpremiums, to a maximum payment not of $100.00, between the rate for liability insurance on the employee’s automobile if used for pleasure only, and the rate required to exceed seven (7insure such automobile if the employee is requested to use the automobile as well for the purpose of the Employer.
20.06 An employee who
a) hours.attends a Convention, Conference, Course or Seminar or
b) On attends a day negotiating session as a representative of rest or on a paid holidaythe employer, an employee who travels or who works and travels Which is held in the National Capital Region, but outside the normal place of employment, shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate to a maximum of fourteen (14) hours.
18.03 a) An Employee, who is required to work three (3) or more hours following her scheduled hours of work, shall be reimbursed her expenses for one (1) meal at the amounts specified at the current PSAC meal rate. Reasonable time to be determined by the Employer shall be allowed the Employee in order that she may take a meal breakallowance equal to the lunch rate set out in the Treasury Board Travel Directive.

COMPENSATION FOR TRAVEL.
18.01 21.01 When an employee is required by the Employer to travel outside of herhis/his headquarters area, and such travel is approved by the Employer, her/his method of travel shall be determined by the Employer and she/he shall be compensated in the following manner:
a) On a normal working day on which she/he travels only or travels and works, she/he shall receive her/his regular pay for that day.
b) On a day of rest or on a paid holiday, the employee shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate provided the total payment for such travel time does not exceed seven (7) hours at the employee's applicable overtime rate, except that if an employee travels and works on a day of rest or on a paid holiday, her/his total compensation for travel and work on each such day shall not exceed seven (7) hours at the applicable overtime rate, exclusive of her/his normal salary entitlement for a paid holiday.
18.02 When an employee is required by the Employer to travel outside her headquarters area, and such travel is approved by the Employer, her the method of travel shall be determined by the Employer and she the employee shall be compensated in the following manner:
a) On on a normal working day on which she/he travelstravels but does not work, the employee shall receive his/her regular pay for the day;
b) on a working day on which she/he travels and works, the employee shall be paid:
i) herhis/his normal her regular pay for the day up to the first for a combined period of travel and work not exceeding seven (7) hours, ;
ii) at the applicable overtime rate for additional travel and work and/or travel time in excess of a seven (7) hours hour period of work and travel, to with a maximum payment for such additional time not to exceed seven (7) hourshours at the applicable overtime rate in any day. Any combination of work and travel time in excess of the 7 hours in sub- clause (i) must be approved in advance by the Employer (except in unusual travel circumstances).
bc) On on a day of rest or on a designated paid holiday, an the employee who travels or who works and travels shall be paid the applicable overtime rate provided the total payment for hours travelled to a maximum of seven (7) hours pay at the applicable overtime rate to a maximum of fourteen (14) hoursrate.
18.03 a21.02 The provisions of the PSAC Travel Policy shall apply to all travel approved by the Employer.
21.03 For each night an employee remains in overnight travel status she/he shall be entitled to be reimbursed the cost of one ten (10) An Employeeminute long distance telephone call. Related associated service charges shall form part of the cost of the call.
21.04 The Employer will issue, on a loan basis, a suitcase to employees who is are required to work three travel frequently. The standard issue suitcase will be of a quality equal to the Samsonite Epsilon case. It is understood and agreed that the suitcase must be returned to the Employer when the employee either leaves the PSAC or accepts a job with no requirements for frequent traveling.
21.05 For the purpose of Article 21.01 b) i), b) ii), and c), the seven (37) or more hours following her scheduled hours of work, referred to therein shall be reimbursed her expenses increased to twelve (12) hours for one travel to, from or within the Territories (1) meal at the amounts specified at the current PSAC meal rate.
