COMPENSATION FOR TRAVEL. 21.01 When an employee is required by the Employer to travel outside his headquarters area, and such travel is approved by the Employer, his method of travel shall be determined by the employer and he shall be compensated in the following manner: (a) on a normal working day on which he travels but does not work, the employee shall receive his regular pay for the day; (b) on a normal working day on which he travels and works, the employee shall be paid: (i) his regular pay for the day for a combined period of travel and work not exceeding seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours; and (ii) at the applicable overtime rate for additional travel time in excess of seven and one-half (7 1/2) hour period of work and travel, with a maximum payment for such additional travel time not to exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours' pay at the hourly rate of pay; (c) On a day of rest or on a holiday, the employee shall be paid the applicable overtime rate provided the total payment for such travel time does not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours at the employee's straight-time rate, except that if an employee travels and works on a day of rest or on a holiday, his total compensation for travel and work on each such day shall not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours at the applicable overtime rate, exclusive of his normal salary entitlement for a holiday.

COMPENSATION FOR TRAVEL. 21.01 19.01 For the purpose of this Article, "applicable overtime rate" means time and one- half (1½) for a combined period of travel and work on a work day and a Saturday, and double (2) time for a period of travel on a Sunday or a designated paid holiday.
19.02 When an employee is required by the Employer to travel outside his of the headquarters area, area (233 Gilmour Street) and such travel is approved by the Employer, his the employee's method of travel shall be determined by the employer Employer and he shall be compensated in the following manner:
(a) on a normal working day on which he the employee travels but does not work, the employee shall receive his regular pay for the day;
(b) on a normal working day on which he the employee travels and works, the employee shall be paid:
(i) his the regular pay for the day for a combined period of travel and work not exceeding seven and one-half (7 1/27) hours; and;
(ii) at the applicable overtime rate for additional travel time in excess of a seven and one-half (7 1/27) hour period of work and travel, with a maximum payment for such additional travel time not to exceed seven and one-half (7 1/27) hours' pay hours at the hourly straight-time rate of pay;in any day.
(c) On a day of rest or on a designated paid holiday, the employee shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate provided the total payment for such travel time does not exceed hours travelled, to a maximum of seven and one-half (7 1/27) hours pay at the employee's straight-time rate.
19.03 Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, except that if the provisions of the UVAE Regulations shall apply to all travel approved by the Employer.
19.04 For each three (3) nights an employee travels and works on remains in overnight travel status, the employee shall be entitled to claim the cost of a day five (5) minute telephone call to the employee's place of rest or on a holiday, his total compensation for travel and work on each such day shall not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours at the applicable overtime rate, exclusive of his normal salary entitlement for a holidayresidence.
