Compliance with Codes The School shall be located in facilities that comply with all applicable State and county building, zoning, fire, health, and safety code requirements.
Compliance with State Law The Business Associate acknowledges that by accepting the PHI from Covered Entity, it becomes a holder of medical information under the MCMRA and is subject to the provisions of that law. If the HIPAA Privacy or Security Rules and the MCMRA conflict regarding the degree of protection provided for PHI, Business Associate shall comply with the more restrictive protection requirement.

Compliance with Applicable Law For the services provided under this Contract, Contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to public contracts and the work done under this Contract, and with all regulations and administrative rules established pursuant to those laws.

Contractor’s act or omission in violation of applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies is grounds for contract termination. In addition to all other remedies or damages allowed by law, Contractor is liable to City for all damages, including costs for substitute performance, sustained as a result of the violation. In addition, Contractor may be subject to suspension, debarment, or both.
Compliance with Federal Law Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal laws, including, without limitation, those set forth in Exhibit D, which is attached and incorporated into this Contract by this reference.
