Conduct Meetings. Depending on the severity of the offence, you may be required to attend a meeting with a HS representative for the purpose of hearing your account of the situation, clarifying your responsibilities as a resident, and discussing potential outcomes. If you fail to attend the meeting, HS will notify you in writing of the decision made in your absence and any conditions or consequences you must adhere to. HS may choose to invite representatives from our partner services to attend (such as Protection Services, Counselling Service, Human Rights Office, etc.). Meetings with HS staff cannot be recorded without written consent. A) Support Person: an individual that may attend any meetings in order to provide personal support to an individual (for example, a parent, friend).
