Common use of Confidentiality of Client Information Clause in Contracts

Confidentiality of Client Information. Network Provider shall not use or disclose any information concerning a recipient of services under this Subcontract for any purpose prohibited by state or federal law or regulations except with the written consent of a person legally authorized to give that consent or when authorized by law. In compliance with 45 CFR s. 164.504(e), Network Provider shall comply with the provisions of Attachment XI to this Subcontract, governing the safeguarding, use and disclosure of Protected Health Information created, received, maintained, or transmitted by the Provider or its subcontractors incidental to Network Provider’s performance of this Subcontract.
