Configuring the Model 720 Communication Service Once the Universal. Server is installed, now the Communication Service needs to be set up. Go to the computer with the Model 720 Translator Service installed on it. Click on Start, All Programs, Xxxxxx Measurements, Inc., 720 Translator. If all of the options are grayed out, then click on the green button next to “Running.” This will stop the Model 720 Translator Service and allow you to change these settings. Remember to turn the Service back on when you are done by clicking that button again, which is now red and says “Stopped.” Add a new Model 720 by typing in its Serial Number and its IP Address (see Figure 27). The Serial Number must match the one given in section 7.4 (minus the “Mon” prefix). The Add button will light up once you have a valid and unique IP Address and Serial Number typed in. Modify a Model 720 by selecting it in the list, changing the appropriate fields in the “Edit Selected Model 720 section,” and clicking the Update button. Deleting a Model 720 is similar, only clicking the Delete Button instead. Test the connection to the Model 720s either in one go (by clicking on the “Test All Model 720 Connections” button) or individually (by selecting the Model 720 in the list and then clicking on the “Test Connection” button).
