Section 7.4. 11 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 12 this Article, the employee shall be given a paid fifteen (15) minute rest period for each four (4) hours 13 of work.
Section 7.4. 19 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time agreed 20 upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 22 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime rates.
Section 7.4. 47 The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by two (2) 48 consecutive days of rest, Saturday and Sunday.

Section 7.4. 25 In the event of an unusual school closure due to inclement weather, plant in-operation, or the like, the 26 District will make every effort to notify each employee to refrain from coming to work. This 27 notification shall be in the form of public radio/TV announcements. Employees reporting to work 28 shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at base rate in the event of such a closure; provided, 29 however, no employee shall be entitled to any such compensation in the event he/she has been actually 30 notified by the District of the closure prior to leaving home for work.

If there are 30 minutes or less between 26 assignments and the time worked of such assignments is 4 hours or more, the employee shall receive a 27 paid 15 minute rest period provided however, determinations regarding break periods and assignments 28 will be made by the Human Resources office.
Section 7.4. 14 Any shift of five (5) or more hours, but less than eight and a half (8.5) hours shall receive an unpaid 15 thirty (30) minute uninterrupted lunch period as near the middle of the shift as is practicable. The 16 employee will also receive a ten (10) minute rest period in the pre-lunch work time and a ten (10) 17 minute rest period in the post-lunch time.
Section 7.4. 32 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 33 this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each three (3) hours of 34 work, except: bus drivers, as noted in Section 20.1.2. herein.
