Connecticut Adverse Law. It is not expected by the Parties that any Connecticut Adverse Law will be enacted or adopted. If a Connecticut Adverse Law is enacted or adopted, the Parties agree to enter into good faith negotiations for the purpose of agreeing on amendments to this Agreement designed to preserve the benefit of the bargain of the Parties contemplated hereby. If the Parties are unable to agree on such amendments in response to a Connecticut Adverse Law and the Conveyance Date has not yet occurred, MTGA may terminate this Agreement by sixty (60) days’ prior notice given to the Town after MTGA learns of such Connecticut Adverse Law but in no event later than one hundred twenty (120) days following the date of enactment or adoption of such Connecticut Adverse Law.

  • Connecticut If You purchased this Agreement in Connecticut, You may pursue mediation to settle disputes between You and the provider of this Agreement. You may mail Your complaint to: State of Connecticut, Insurance Department, P.O. Box 816, Hartford, Connecticut 06142-0816, Attention: Consumer Affairs. The written complaint must describe the dispute, identify the price of the product and cost of repair, and include a copy of this Agreement. In the event Your Covered Product is being serviced by an authorized service center when this Agreement expires, the term of this Agreement will be extended until covered repair has been completed. CANCELLATION section is amended as follows: You may cancel this Agreement if You return the Product or the Product is sold, lost, stolen, or destroyed. Florida: This Agreement is between the Provider, Xxxxxx Southern Insurance Company (License No. 03698) and You, the purchaser.   • Indiana Veteran Owned Small Business Enterprise Compliance Award of this Contract was based, in part, on the Indiana Veteran Owned Small Business Enterprise (“IVOSB”) participation plan, as detailed in the IVOSB Subcontractor Commitment Form, commonly referred to as “Attachment A-1” in the procurement documentation and incorporated by reference herein. Therefore, any changes to this information during the Contract term must be approved by IDOA’s IVOSB Division (“IVOSB Division”) and may require an amendment. It is the State’s expectation that the Contractor will meet the subcontractor commitments during the Contract term.   • Limitation on Out-of-State Litigation - Texas Business and Commerce Code § 272 This is a requirement of the TIPS Contract and is non-negotiable. Texas Business and Commerce Code § 272 prohibits a construction contract, or an agreement collateral to or affecting the construction contract, from containing a provision making the contract or agreement, or any conflict arising under the contract or agreement, subject to another state’s law, litigation in the courts of another state, or arbitration in another state. If included in Texas construction contracts, such provisions are voidable by a party obligated by the contract or agreement to perform the work. By submission of this proposal, Vendor acknowledges this law and if Vendor enters into a construction contract with a Texas TIPS Member under this procurement, Vendor certifies compliance.
