Common use of Consistent with provisions of the California Education Code Clause in Contracts

Consistent with provisions of the California Education Code. the County Office shall confer and provide assistance and/or appropriate legal representation for any employee assaulted by a student or a parent while in the lawful discharge of their duties. An assault shall be defined, as in the Penal Code, as an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability to commit a violent injury on the person of another.
