Construction Contract If federal funds are included as part of the financing of the non-OPWC portion of the Project, federal law may prevail, including, but not limited to, application of Xxxxx Xxxxx prevailing wage rates, the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and any federal environmental regulations. BUILDER’S RISK FOR CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION PROJECTS If the project is CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION of an existing structure, and the State has already determined that Contractor will not be obligated to obtain and maintain Builder’s Risk insurance, then the following provisions apply:
Construction Reports Each Constructing Entity shall issue reports to each other Construction Party on a monthly basis, and at such other times as reasonably requested, regarding the status of the construction and installation of the Interconnection Facilities. Each Construction Party shall promptly identify, and shall notify each other Construction Party of, any event that the Construction Party reasonably expects may delay completion, or may significantly increase the cost, of the Interconnection Facilities. Should a Construction Party report such an event, Transmission Provider shall, within fifteen days of such notification, convene a technical meeting of the Construction Parties to evaluate schedule alternatives.
Construction Work The regulation at 41 C.F.R. § 60-1.3 defines “construction work” as the construction, rehabilitation, alteration, conversion, extension, demolition or repair of buildings, highways, or other changes or improvements to real property, including facilities providing utility services. The term also includes the supervision, inspection, and other onsite functions incidental to the actual construction.
