Continuous service means a period of continuous employment regardless of an employee’s absence from work for any of the following reasons: • illness or accident up to a maximum of four (4) weeks after the expiration of paid personal leave. • any paid leave entitlement taken (e.g. annual leave, jury service, public holiday, personal leave, long service leave, etc.). • injury received during the course of employment and up to a maximum of fifty-two (52) weeks for which the employee received workers’ compensation. • any other absence from work except where the employer notifies the employee in writing that their service has been broken. • for accrual of annual leave, see Clause 41 – Annual leave; and/or • any other leave authorised by the employer or available under this Agreement.
Construction Work means work that the employer and the Union agree is construction work, or in default of agreement, that which is so declared by the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
Construction Work means the total construction services to be performed by the Construction Contractor to complete the construction of the Project.
