Construction Surety Bond. Concessionaire shall not allow any liens or encumbrances to be attached to the Leased Premises. Prior to the commencement of any construction or alteration hereunder which exceeds $10,000 in cost, Concessionaire or its contractor shall furnish to County, and without expense to County, a surety bond, issued by a surety Concessionaire licensed to transact business in the State of Wisconsin and satisfactory to and approved by County with Concessionaire's contractor or contractors as principals, in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total cost of the contract or contracts for the construction or alteration of the improvements and facilities mentioned herein. Said bond shall guarantee the prompt payment to all persons supplying labor, materials, provisions, supplies, and equipment used directly or indirectly by said contractor, subcontractor(s), and suppliers in the prosecution of the work provided for in said construction contract and shall protect County from any liability, losses, or damages arising there from.

  • Construction Contract If federal funds are included as part of the financing of the non-OPWC portion of the Project, federal law may prevail, including, but not limited to, application of Xxxxx Xxxxx prevailing wage rates, the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and any federal environmental regulations. Recipient is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with federal requirements applicable to its Local Subdivision Contribution.   • BUILDER’S RISK FOR CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION PROJECTS If the project is CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION of an existing structure, and the State has already determined that Contractor will not be obligated to obtain and maintain Builder’s Risk insurance, then the following provisions apply:
