Contact Tracing. The District will work with County Public Health to initiate contact tracing upon notification that an employee or student has been infected with COVID-19 and send all required notices, while ensuring the unit member confidentiality as required by law. Unit members shall cooperate with contact tracing as requested by the Public Health Department and the District. Unit members should know their closest contacts. As defined by the CDC, for COVID-19, a close contact is anyone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting from 48 hours before the person began feeling sick until the time the patient was isolated.
