Common use of CONTACTING ME Clause in Contracts

CONTACTING ME. The most appropriate time to discuss any issues of concern is during our scheduled sessions. Due to my work schedule, I am often not immediately available by telephone. While I am usually in my office during regular business hours, I typically do not answer the phone when I am with a client. When I am unavailable, my telephone is answered by voicemail or an answering service (for emergency situations), which will then contact me. While I want to be able to respond to your emergency call when you need me, please understand that I may not always able to do so. In the event of a clinical emergency, if you are unable to reach me immediately and cannot wait for me to return your call, you should contact your primary care physician (or child’s pediatrician) and/or proceed to your nearest hospital emergency room.
