Common use of Contingency Planning Clause in Contracts

Contingency Planning. The Provider must have appropriate contingency plans in the event of any incidents which would impact on delivery of the service. For example, adverse weather, power failure, illness of staff, outbreak of infection, industrial action, failure of essential facilities or specialist equipment. If an incident occurs, the Provider will assess what essential services must be delivered in line with contingency plans. The Provider must advise NSD of the situation and discuss the contingency requirements.β€Œ
