– Continuance Of Past Practices. Prior to any major College personnel policy, practice, benefit, change, or change in working conditions or other terms of employment, the Union will be provided thirty (30) calendar days’ advance notice. Less than thirty (30) calendar days, but as many as practical, may be given in emergency situations. If the change described above involves a mandatory subject of bargaining, the Union may negotiate the impact of the change. In the event the Union does not request discussions and/or negotiations within thirty (30) calendar days, the Employer may implement the changes without further discussions and/or negotiations unless both parties agree in writing to extend the time lines. Either party to this Agreement may request mediation/arbitration with the Washington Public Employment Relations Commission for any issue negotiated under this Article which goes to impasse. Any rules, policies, and practices in effect are subject to the terms of this Agreement, unless changed as set forth above.
