Common use of Continuation of Existing Practices Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Existing Practices. Existing working conditions and practices, whether written or oral, which are not specifically referred to in this Agreement and which are not in conflict with any of its provisions and which have been established by custom and/or usage shall continue in full force and effect and shall not be altered during the life of this Agreement, except by mutual written agreement between the Employer and the Union.
