Common use of Continuation of Flexible Benefits Election Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Flexible Benefits Election. When an employee who is enrolled in the State's Flexible Benefit Program (FlexElect) for eligible nonrepresented employees changes employment status to that of a represented employee in the bargaining unit, the employee will continue his/her flexible benefit elections through the duration of the flex plan year in lieu of the corresponding benefits provided by this Agreement. At the conclusion of the flex plan year, the employee shall receive only those benefits contained in this Agreement.
