Common use of Continuation of Medical Insurance Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Medical Insurance. If Employee's employment by Washington Mutual terminates for any reason (including early retirement) other than gross misconduct, Employee shall be entitled to continue to participate in Washington Mutual's self-funded group medical plan, at Employee's expense, to the extent provided in the plan and under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA).
