Common use of Continuous Hours Clause in Contracts

Continuous Hours. When an Employee is required to work during snow and ice operations for sixteen (16) continuous hours, he/she shall be given eight (8) hours off with pay. Such time has no cash value and shall be taken annually not later than October 1st. Time off shall be subject to the operating needs of the department and require prior approval of the supervisor which will not be unreasonably withheld.
