Common use of Contracting for Services Clause in Contracts

Contracting for Services. ‌ Nothing in this Contract shall be interpreted to prevent the School from entering into contracts or other agreements with a school district, educational service district, or other public or private entity for the provision of real property, equipment, goods, supplies, and services, related to the operation of the School consistent with the law and the terms of this Contract. The terms of such contracts for services shall be negotiated between the School and the other entity. Such contracts shall, at all times, be subject to the requirements of this Contract and will not relieve the School of its responsibilities under this Contract. This provision is subject to the limitations set out in this Contract. Within five days of the execution of any contract in which the School has agreed to pay $10,000 or more, in one sum or aggregate, the School shall forward a copy of such contract to the Commission.
