Contractor Initiated Changes. When latent or unforeseen conditions require modifications to the contract or Contractor initiates changes through a value engineering proposal, Contractor must propose said changes by submitting a request to County. Contractor shall: 18.2.2.1 Include a statement outlining the reason for the change and the effect of the change on the Work. 18.2.2.2 Provide a complete description of the proposed change and indicate the effect of the proposed change on the Contract Sum and Contract Time. 18.2.2.3 Provide all information about the change as outlined below (Subsection 18.3) for “Contractor Proposal.” 18.2.2.4 Notify County of changes requiring immediate action to prevent injury or loss of property. Contractor shall complete such changes as soon as reasonably possible and as appropriate under the circumstances.
