Common use of Contractor Representative Clause in Contracts

Contractor Representative. (a) The CONTRACTOR REPRESENTATIVE has the authority to commit the CONTRACTOR to any course of action within the rights and obligations of the CONTRACTOR under the CONTRACT and, subject to any delegation of such authority, shall be responsible for issuing to and receiving from the COMPANY all notices, information, instructions and decisions. (b) The CONTRACTOR REPRESENTATIVE may delegate any of his authority to any nominated deputy, the terms of such delegation being subject to the prior approval of the COMPANY which shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. (c) The CONTRACTOR shall not change the CONTRACTOR REPRESENTATIVE or any nominated deputy without cause without the prior approval of the COMPANY which shall not unreasonably be withheld or delayed. (d) The CONTRACTOR REPRESENTATIVE has no powers to amend the CONTRACT.
