Safety Representative. On every job site, workers may elect a Workers’ Safety Representative in accordance with the Act.
Safety Representative. Contractor shall designate a qualified and experienced safety representative at the Site whose duties and responsibilities shall be the prevention of accidents and the maintaining and supervising of safety precautions and programs.
Safety Representative. Each contractor is required to advise TIR who their safety representative is. That representative has duties as described in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Safety Representative. A. CONTRACTOR shall designate a qualified and experienced safety representative at the Site whose duties and responsibilities shall be the prevention of accidents and the maintaining and supervising of safety precautions and programs.
Safety Representative. A. The representative of the Association who serves as the co-chairperson of the Authority’s Safety and Occupational Health Committee and one (1) safety representative from each platoon may be selected by the Association to meet at least once a month, upon request, with the designated Authority Safety Officer and/or the Authority’s Operations Training and Safety Officer to discuss matters affecting employee health and safety.
B. A safety representative who has received a complaint involving a possible health and safety violation shall be given reasonable time off without loss of pay to gather appropriate information on such complaint provided:
1. The safety representative requests permission of the immediate supervisor prior to performing such duty.
2. The safety representative shall not be allowed to leave the worksite if in the opinion of the immediate supervisor it will unduly interfere with the work of the unit. However, the Authority will make every attempt to grant such time off as soon as it is feasible to do so.
C. When an authorized safety representative enters into another section or work unit to gather said information, the safety representative shall be permitted to do so provided:
1. The safety representative checks in and out with the supervisor of the unit.
2. The safety representative does not unduly interfere with the work of the unit.
Safety Representative. The Company will provide a Health and Safety representative to oversee set safety in accordance with the applicable Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Safety Representative. Contractor shall inform City in writing of Contractor’s designated safety representative at the Site.
Safety Representative. A. DESIGN/BUILDER shall designate a qualified and experienced safety representative whose duties and responsibilities shall be the prevention of accidents and the maintaining and supervising of safety precautions and programs in connection with the performance of the Work.
Safety Representative. Each contractor is required to advise DTI who their safety representative is. That representative has duties as described in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Safety Representative. Construction Manager shall, prior to commencing construction, designate a safety representative with the necessary qualifications and experience to supervise the implementation and monitoring of all safety precautions and programs related to the Work. Unless otherwise required by the Contract Documents, Construction Manager’s safety representative shall be an individual stationed at the Site who may have other responsibilities on the Project in addition to safety.
