Contractor Responsible for Tax. Contractor is subject to the tax on all purchases, fabrication, manufacture or other production of tangible personal property used, stored, or consumed in performance of the Services.
Contractor Responsible for TaxThe Contractor acknowledges that he shall be solely responsible for payment of the Contractor’s own income tax and consents to the Principal furnishing the Commissioner of Taxation with the Contractor’s details and information as to payment in accordance with the laws from time to time in force in the State referred to in the Schedule hereto and parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction by the Courts of the said State. The determination of this Agreement shall not affect the rights of the parties accrued before or upon or as a result of termination.

  • Contractor Responsibility (a) The Contractor shall be responsible for the entire Performance under the Contract regardless of whether the Contractor itself performs. The Contractor shall be the sole point of contact concerning the management of the Contract, including Performance and payment issues. The Contractor is solely and completely responsible for adherence by the Contractor Parties to all applicable provisions of the Contract. (b) The Contractor shall exercise all reasonable care to avoid damage to the State's property or to property being made ready for the State's use, and to all property adjacent to any work site. The Contractor shall promptly report any damage, regardless of cause, to the State.
