STOP WORK NOTICE The City may issue an immediate Stop Work Notice in the event the Contractor is observed performing in a manner that is in violation of Federal, State, or local guidelines, or in a manner that is determined by the City to be unsafe to either life or property. Upon notification, the Contractor will cease all work until notified by the City that the violation or unsafe condition has been corrected. The Contractor shall be liable for all costs incurred by the City as a result of the issuance of such Stop Work Notice.
Final Report Outline The Recipient shall Prepare a Final Report Outline in accordance with the Energy Commission Style Manual provided by the CAM. Shipping must be Freight On Board Destination to the delivery location designated on the Customer purchase order The Contractor will retain title and control of all goods until delivery is completed and the Customer has accepted the delivery. All risk of transportation and all related charges are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Customer will notify the Contractor and H-GAC promptly of any damaged goods and will assist the Contractor in arranging for inspection. The Contractor must file all claims for visible or concealed damage. Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, deliveries must consist only of new and unused merchandise.
CONTRACTOR’S RELATION TO THE STATE In the performance of this Agreement the Contractor is in all respects an independent contractor, and is neither an agent nor an employee of the State. Neither the Contractor nor any of its officers, employees, agents or members shall have authority to bind the State or receive any benefits, workers’ compensation or other emoluments provided by the State to its employees.
Contractor’s Xxxxxxxx to City Compensation. The Contractor shall send invoices to the City on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for the amounts to be paid pursuant to this contract. Each invoice shall document, to the reasonable satisfaction of the City: such information as may be reasonably requested by the City. Within 60 days after the City receives an invoice, the City shall send the Contractor a check in payment for all undisputed amounts contained in the invoice.
Notice to Employees Contractor must give notice in writing to its employees who perform work on this Contract, either at the time of hire or before commencement of work on this Contract, or by posting a notice in a location frequented by employees, of the number of hours per day and days per week that the employees may be required to work.
SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.
Representative of the Recipient; Addresses Section 7.01. The Minister of Finance of the Recipient is designated as representative of the Recipient for the purposes of Section 11.03 of the General Conditions.
NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES REGARDING THE SAFELY SURRENDERED BABY LAW The Contractor shall notify and provide to its employees, and shall require each Subcontractor to notify and provide to its employees, a fact sheet regarding the Safely Surrendered Baby Law, its implementation in Los Angeles County, and where and how to safely surrender a baby. The fact sheet is set forth in Exhibit I of this Contract and is also available on the Internet at xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx for printing purposes.
Right of Refusal The proposing vendor has the right not to sell under the awarded agreement with a TIPS member at vendor's discretion unless required by law.
