Common use of CONTRACTOR’S SAFETY Clause in Contracts

CONTRACTOR’S SAFETY. REPRESENTATIVE The Contractor shall designate an individual at the site in the employ of the Contractor who shall act as the Contractor’s designated safety representative with a duty to prevent accidents. Unless otherwise identified by the Contractor in writing to the Owner, the designated safety representative shall be the Contractor’s project superintendent. The Contractor will report immediately in writing all accidents and injuries occurring at the Worksite to the Owner. When the Contractor is required to file an accident report with a public authority, the Contractor shall furnish a copy of the report to the Owner.
