Contribution to GLEIF by the XXX. 29 GLEIF is a not-for-profit organization. 30 GLEIF's purpose is to act as the operational arm of the GLEIS, and must therefore support on a not-for-profit basis the implementation of the GLEIS. Under the Governance Principles of the GLEIS, GLEIF is requested to operate efficiently and to avoid excessive costs, so that fees to be paid by Legal Entities do not act as a barrier to be issued an LEI.
