Common use of Control on resumption of work Clause in Contracts

Control on resumption of work. The employer may decide that an employee who is prevented from performing his work through incapacity due to illness or disability may only resume work if the occupational health and safety service issues a medical certificate permitting him to do so and specifying the extent to which the work can be resumed. This permission shall in any case be required if the employee has been entirely prevented from performing his work through incapacity due to illness or disability for a period of more than one year.
