Common use of Controlling Clause Clause in Contracts

Controlling Clause. ‌ In the event of a conflict between existing or future Board of Regents and/or administration policies and this agreement, the conflict shall be resolved in favor of the terms of this agreement during its duration. No change, recision, alteration, or modification of this contract shall be valid unless mutually agreed upon by both parties and endorsed by written addendum hereto, any other provision of this agreement notwithstanding.
