Common use of Cooperation on Health and Safety Clause in Contracts

Cooperation on Health and Safety. a) The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in conducting Regional Municipal operations in a manner which will provide adequate protection of the health and safety of employees. b) The Union and the Employer shall cooperate in improving rules and practices which will provide adequate protection to employees engaged in hazardous work, including the establishment of the Health and Safety Committee. c) The Joint Health and Safety Committee shall hold monthly meetings to deal with all unresolved, unsafe, hazardous and dangerous conditions.
