Common use of Cost of Lodging, Meals and Other Travel Allowances Clause in Contracts

Cost of Lodging, Meals and Other Travel Allowances. The County shall reimburse the actual cost of lodging, meals and other related transportation expenses on an actual cost basis. Except in the case of an emergency, the employee shall receive prior approval for all anticipated expenses. In order to receive reimbursement, a receipt must be provided for all expenses. The County reserves the right to deny expense claims for such things as personal gifts, alcohol, entertainment or excessive expenses.
