Lead Worker. The Employer may not require an employee to assume lead workers duties unless the employee is paid additional compensation. An employee performing lead worker duties for a position that is one grade above his/her current grade shall receive a 6% increase in pay while performing the lead worker duties. An employee performing lead worker duties for a position that is two or more grades above his/her current grade shall receive a 12% increase in pay while performing the lead worker duties. An employee may refuse to perform uncompensated lead duties without penalty. An employee who voluntarily performs lead workers duties without compensation may not be negatively evaluated on his/her performance of the lead duties and may not be disciplined for actions that relate to the lead worker position taken in good faith. This section does not preclude the assignment of an employee as the lead on a specific project of a limited duration (typically 90 days or less).

Lead Worker. An employee assigned to a full spectrum of lead worker duties shall receive a five percent (5%) increase for actual hours worked as a lead worker. Lead worker duties comprise all of the following: • Training • Reviewing Work • Organizing, planning, and scheduling work assignments • Providing input on employee performance evaluations • Providing guidance in daily activities • Providing technical expertise • Acting as a resource on difficult points of procedure • Providing assistance to and making recommendations in the hiring process Employees shall not exercise lead worker responsibilities over employees with whom they have a family, financial, or close personal relationship.

Lead Worker. A lead worker, designated by the CITY, shall be paid one dollar ($1.00) per hour over the regular hourly rate of pay.

Lead Worker. An employee designated in writing by the Section Manager/designee as 9 “lead worker” shall receive a seven and a half percent (7.5%) premium, calculated using the base 10 hourly rate of pay, in addition to the base wage for all time so assigned.
Lead Worker. Lead workers, shall not serve as a “Rater” of performance reports of other employees. A Lead worker shall be selected from the permanent employees in the same or similar classification and department and have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the job. An employee designated as a Lead worker, shall receive a one (1) step wage differential and such differential shall not affect merit increases or anniversary dates. If a Lead worker is rated on the basis of supervisory ability, it will only be to the extent actually exercised. Lead workers shall be assigned or removed at the sole discretion of the Trust.

Lead Worker. When an Athletic Facilities Attendant performs as a Lead Worker at the direction of the University, the employee shall receive a fifty-five cents (55¢) per hour increase for all hours worked while performing Lead Worker duties in addition to the employee’s basic straight time hourly rate (along with any applicable shift differential).
Lead Worker. An employee designated to lead a permanent crew or assigned a similar scope of responsibilities.
Lead Worker. An employee may, at the discretion of the Department Head and the Human Resources Director, be assigned in writing as a Lead Worker. A Lead Worker is only an enhanced function of a job position and is not a change in classification. A Lead Worker routinely performs direction of work for at least one other employee and performs some limited but not all of the functions of a first level supervisor as specifically assigned, for example, scheduling, assignment of daily work tasks, and oversee daily operations and frontline customer service. Any employee designated as a Lead Worker shall be assigned limited first level supervisory responsibilities and shall receive an additional $0.80 (80 cents) per hour for all hours worked. Assignments are at the discretion of the County and not subject to grievance. Assignments will be reviewed yearly by Department Heads.
