County’s Termination for Convenience. The County may terminate this Contract in whole or in part whenever the County determines that termination of the Contract is in the best interest of the County. The County will provide the Contractor with written notice of a termination for convenience at least thirty (30) calendar days before the intended termination date. By the termination date, the Contractor shall provide the County with immediate and peaceful possession of the Project site. Such termination shall be without liability or penalty, and in no circumstance shall Contractor be entitled to lost profits for work not performed due to termination. No termination for convenience shall prejudice any obligations or liabilities of either party already accrued prior to the effective date of termination.
