Covering a Principal Role. (1) Any Chorister employed in a production who is requested to memorize and cover a Principal role in the same production shall be paid not less than 1 single Cover/In- School performance minimum fee prescribed for that role in Article II of this agreement, according to the classification given to the role in AGMA's Classification of Roles (Schedule C) or, if not mentioned therein, according to the classification mutually agreed to in advance of the season by Company and AGMA. Company shall compensate such covering Chorister for rehearsal time at the otherwise applicable rate for Choristers. Company shall keep contemporaneous written records of such rehearsal time. (2) Upon request by either Company or the covering Chorister, up to 5 hours of coaching (a musical session involving Xxxxxxxxx and a repetiteur and/or a language coach) in addition to the number of rehearsal hours mentioned above may be scheduled without additional compensation. Any coaching shall either be scheduled contiguous to another call for such Chorister or be scheduled separately with a 1- hour minimum call. (3) There shall be a 2-hour minimum call for all cover rehearsal calls, except for coaching, unless such cover rehearsal call is contiguous to a call of at least 2 hours which includes such covering Chorister, in which case Company shall allow the covering Chorister at least a 5-minute break prior to such additional call. (4) A covering Chorister who actually performs the covered role shall be paid for each such performance not less than the minimum single-performance fee for the classification of that role as provided above, in addition to their fee as a cover. (5) Company agrees to provide AGMA a list of Chorus covers for each production once all Chorus covers for that production have been determined. (6) Any singer requested to cover a role in a production in which they do not otherwise appear as a Chorister shall be paid for such coverage as a Principal Artist. (7) Choristers performing solo roles, including solo bit roles, shall receive the same considerations as Principals with respect to provision of tickets to the production in which the Chorister is performing the solo role. (8) Company shall provide a “cover staging rehearsal” prior to the Final Dress Rehearsal. (9) Company shall notify covers on the day of the performance about the health of the Artist they are covering.
