Creation of Locally Adapted Procedures for Implementation of Field and Lab Research Sample Clauses

Creation of Locally Adapted Procedures for Implementation of Field and Lab Research. ‌ The GRAIN Research Team, along with the ARIA Department Heads and researchers, have invested significantly in improving, replacing, and developing agronomic research protocols for ARIA. Prior to these efforts, ARIA’s protocols were either nonexistent, outdated, difficult to interpret, and/or inconsistent from location to location. GRAIN/ARIA developed protocols describe the experiment details including the experimental design, treatments, and treatment methods. The protocol must also identify a statistical model for analyzing outcomes. GRAIN and CIMMYT have moved forward in completion of the wheat Field Data Collection Manual (FDCM). This manual will serve as a reference for each protocol by listing the field data to be collected as well as time and method of collection. All trials data will be collected in a uniform manner. GRAIN and CIMMYT have worked jointly in Q1 in developing the appropriate cover design for the FDCM in the English format. In addition to the English copy, CIMMYT has translated the manual into Dari and Pashto. GRAIN’s technical team has reviewed the translation and final copies have been submitted for final formatting revisions. The next step will be to print 1,000 copies (500 English + Pashto, 500 English +Dari) on high-quality water-resistant paper. During Q3, ARIA researchers will be trained on correct use of the manual which will be distributed to seven primary zonal ARIA research stations.

Creation of Locally Adapted Procedures for Implementation of Field and Lab Research. ‌ Through partnership with CIMMYT, GRAIN completed the bulk of the work on the field data collection manual, which will be finalized early next quarter. The manual is intended to assist ARIA wheat researchers in timely and uniform data collection of appropriate parameters, across all research stations.

Well-rounded research proposals and protocols are the first step in encouraging accurate, consistent, and rigorous trial implementation and data collection across each experimental region. This quarter, through several meetings and an iterative review process, GRAIN’s Research Team and ARIA partner researchers in Kabul developed new research protocols for the five new experiments being implemented in the 2019-2020 growing season. These studies were selected through a gap analysis process initially conducted in July of PY2 (further described in Activity 1.A.4).

  • Exclusive Procedure The grievance procedure set out above shall be exclusive and shall replace any other grievance procedure for adjustment of any disputes arising from the application and interpretation of this Agreement.

  • Implementation of Agreement Each Party must promptly execute all documents and do all such acts and things as is necessary or desirable to implement and give full effect to the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Research Use Reporting To assure adherence to NIH GDS Policy, the PI agrees to provide annual Progress Updates as part of the annual Project Renewal or Project Close-out processes, prior to the expiration of the one (1) year data access period. The PI who is seeking Renewal or Close-out of a project agree to complete the appropriate online forms and provide specific information such as how the data have been used, including publications or presentations that resulted from the use of the requested dataset(s), a summary of any plans for future research use (if the PI is seeking renewal), any violations of the terms of access described within this Agreement and the implemented remediation, and information on any downstream intellectual property generated from the data. The PI also may include general comments regarding suggestions for improving the data access process in general. Information provided in the progress updates helps NIH evaluate program activities and may be considered by the NIH GDS governance committees as part of NIH’s effort to provide ongoing stewardship of data sharing activities subject to the NIH GDS Policy.

  • Technical Feasibility of String While ICANN has encouraged and will continue to encourage universal acceptance of all top-‐level domain strings across the Internet, certain top-‐level domain strings may encounter difficulty in acceptance by ISPs and webhosters and/or validation by web applications. Registry Operator shall be responsible for ensuring to its satisfaction the technical feasibility of the TLD string prior to entering into this Agreement.

  • Research Use The Requester agrees that if access is approved, (1) the PI named in the DAR and (2) those named in the “Senior/Key Person Profile” section of the DAR, including the Information Technology Director and any trainee, employee, or contractor1 working on the proposed research project under the direct oversight of these individuals, shall become Approved Users of the requested dataset(s). Research use will occur solely in connection with the approved research project described in the DAR, which includes a 1-2 paragraph description of the proposed research (i.e., a Research Use Statement). Investigators interested in using Cloud Computing for data storage and analysis must request permission to use Cloud Computing in the DAR and identify the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or providers and/or Private Cloud System (PCS) that they propose to use. They must also submit a Cloud Computing Use Statement as part of the DAR that describes the type of service and how it will be used to carry out the proposed research as described in the Research Use Statement. If the Approved Users plan to collaborate with investigators outside the Requester, the investigators at each external site must submit an independent DAR using the same project title and Research Use Statement, and if using the cloud, Cloud Computing Use Statement. New uses of these data outside those described in the DAR will require submission of a new DAR; modifications to the research project will require submission of an amendment to this application (e.g., adding or deleting Requester Collaborators from the Requester, adding datasets to an approved project). Access to the requested dataset(s) is granted for a period of one (1) year, with the option to renew access or close-out a project at the end of that year. Submitting Investigator(s), or their collaborators, who provided the data or samples used to generate controlled-access datasets subject to the NIH GDS Policy and who have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval and who meet any other study specific terms of access, are exempt from the limitation on the scope of the research use as defined in the DAR.

  • Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.
